BEAST's Doojoon Proves He Could Play Soccer Professionally

The World Cup fever continues amongst Korean idols, and BEAST's leader definitely is excited.

BEAST's Doojoon proved on the variety show Cool Kiz On The Block that he's not only a fan of soccer, but he's even able to compete with professional players. In Brazil, The Cool Kiz On The Block men met up with Brazil's national women's football (soccer) team, and the members tried their hands at competing with the professional players. Doojoon's skills shocked everyone.

Doojoon went one-on-one up against Formiga, one of the team's midfielders and ace players. She also plays for the Chicago Red Stars when not playing as a member of Brazil's national women's team. Even though he was playing against a professional player, Doojoon was able to keep up with Formiga and showed off some fancy footwork as the two passed the ball back and forth.

Not only were the Cool Kiz On The Block members impressed, but even the members of Brazil's national women's team seemed impress by the idol.

The BEAST member is known for his soccer passion; he began playing in middle school.

This isn't the first time that Doojoon has showed off his soccer skills. At the Idol Star Atheltics in 2013, Doojoon made headlines by surprising everyone with his talent. He gained so much attention that an agency representative issued a statement that reflected Doojoon's intensity.

"Yoon Doojoon is a hardcore soccer fan. He usually carries around a mini soccer goal post. In his spare time he likes to play soccer games with teams split into artists and managers."

The Cool Kiz members also met with Korean players who had represented the country at several past World Cup matches. Doojoon's skills can be seen throughout the episode, but he goes against Formiga within the last ten minutes of the show.

Doojoon is currently promoting "Good Luck" with the rest of BEAST's members.
