The history of all artists of SM Entertainment have been organized into a single movie called, "I AM: SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in Madison Square Garden".

On the 29th of June, SM stars like Girls' Generation members Jessica and Yoona appeared at two different movie theaters in Seoul to promote the new SM movie. The two events were created in order to introduce and promote "I AM" to the public.

The movie, "I AM" will reveal never-before-seen footages of SM artists and their past before they became world famous K-Pop stars. It has been reported that the movie contains material from a total of 4,824 tapes owned by SM Entertainment as well as 4,415 tapes documented by Mnet. Those tapes are said to have footages of the stars' auditions, practices, very first debut performances all the way up to their performance at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Each individual artist has a unique history of their own and "I AM" will go beyond all the materialistic image of the flawless K-Pop stars and reveal their real passionate, heartbreaking and heartwarming stories that helped them mature into the world famous K-Pop stars that they are today. The incredible background stories of the beloved SM artists have all been revealed on the 21st of June through the SM movie, "I AM".
