Boy band FTISLAND is the new face of a clothing brand in Taiwan.

STAYREAL, which was launched back in 2007, chose the members of FTISLAND to be their first Asian models for the brand.

The fashion brand, which is owned by the vocalist of a famous Taiwanese band, is currently one of the most popular clothing brands in Taiwan, according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

"FTISLAND is one of the most influential artists in Asia, and we thought that their free-spirited look matches the identity of our brand very well," stated a representative from the fashion brand.

STAYREAL currently has over 40 stores located in various places across Asia, including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore and Malaysia.

FTISLAND is seen modeling the "Disney Collection by STAYREAL" collection, which is a collaboration project created by the fashion brand and Disney.

Local news outlets reported that FTISLAND fans stood in line from 5AM to purchase items specifically from this collection. Fans were spotted taking pictures with the multiples posters and standing boards of the members that were positioned around the store.

FTISLAND will be participating in China's "Tomato Zebra Music Festival" as well as Japan's "A-Nation," "Summer Sonic 2014" and "Inazuma Rock Festival" this summer.

Although each member of the five-member boy band has successfully launched their own careers outside of the group, leader Lee Hong Gi has gained special attention for his various solo activities. Fans will now be able to see the singer on the small screen once again as it was announced that Lee has taken on a role in an upcoming SBS drama.

"Lee Hong Gi decided to cast in channel SBS' new drama called 'Modern Farmer' as a guy named Lee Min Gi, who is the main character of the drama," stated a representative of FNC Entertainment on July 7.

Lee's character is described as "a genius rocker and the leader, main vocalist and guitarist of a rock band called 'Excellent Souls.'"

This isn't the first time Lee Hong Gi made fans swoon with his acting skills. He made a huge hit with his role in the drama "Bride of the Century" earlier this year as well.
