Rookie Idol Group HALO Receives Love Calls From Japan Agencies Right After Debut

HALO has been soaring to the top since their recent debut.

The rookie idol group has reportedly been receiving offers from various Japanese agencies, one of which houses many famous K-pop groups.

The Japanese agency flew to Korea just to see HALO perform on a music program and was reportedly happy with what they saw. Both the members of HALO and the agency are currently looking over the proposition, but both have shown positive responses regarding the potential contract.

This is an impressive feat for a rookie group that only made their official debut on June 26. HALO debuted with their first single album "38'C,'" and performed on MBC's "Music Core" two days after their debut.

HALO, which stands for Hexagon of Absolute Light and the Organization, made their unofficial debut during the "Dream Concert 20th Anniversary 2014" event, where they performed the track "Temperature is Hot," according to Dailykpopupdates.

HALO was signed under C2 Entertainment, which is a sister agency of CJES, but has since changed to AYINHoldings.

The six-member boy group consists of Ooon, Dino, Inhaeng, Jaeyong, Heechun and Yoondong. The members range from ages 19 to 22 with Yoondong as the youngest member and Dino as the oldest.

Ooon, who used to be a dancer for several famous K-pop groups, is the leader of the group.

Dino and Yoon Dong were the last two members of HALO that were added, according to Yahoo Entertainment Malaysia.

Once all the members of the group were announced, the agency released teaser images of each of the members, according to Hellokpop. A topless image of Ooon was revealed on June 20 along with the title of their song, "Can You Hear Me?"

HALO made sure to create a solid fan base for themselves before they even debuted. The group released a greeting video for fans in early June and exceeded 2,761 members on their official fan café.
