From Super Junior to KARA, SNSD to TVXQ, Japanese Stars Have Fallen in Love with Korean Celebrities!

It has been pointed out that the Korean Wave has slowed down. However, every time a K-Pop celebrity releases an album in Japan, it is always ranked high on the Oricon charts and appear on Japan variety shows as well. Due to their success in a foreign country, Japanese stars have become K-Pop fans as well.

Idol group Super Junior recently had their Japan concert, "Super Show 4- In Tokyo" this past May at the Japan Tokyo Dome. 110,000 people came to the show to support Super Junior. Japanese gag combo Seijuro Murakami Jun also came to this concert. He made a video that said, "I am here at the Super Junior concert with my wife. Their singing and dancing is amazing. There was no intermission for the four hour long concert, but it felt like time flew by. As a guy, I still think that they are awesome."

Japanese actor and gag man Gekidan Hitori became a KARA fan while appearing on the same variety show a few times. He said, "I hope that KARA stays in good terms even when they are older" and "I have a favorite member but I will not say who it is.I am a true fan of the entire group KARA." He has gone to their Japan Debut Showcase, fan sign events ad concerts.

Japanese stars have become fans with Girls' Generation more and more. Another Japanese celebrity, Imada Kojisaw Girls' Generation on a plane and told the story on a show saying, "All the other members were sleeping, but the youngest, Seohyun, was knitting."

Japanese gag duo London Boots member, Atsushi Tamura, attended a Girls' Generation concert, gaining much attention. He wrote on his twitter, "I am attending a Girls' Generation concert in between my schedule. I was shy when my eyes met with some of the members. I have to go back on set now but all I can think about is their song, "Gee"." 

Japanese girl group, AKB48 member Kojima Haruna and Atsuko Maeda are TVXQ U-Know Yunho fans. They have written on their homepage and twitter that they are fans of him.

Actor Norika Fujiwara is hooked on Korean food. He appeared on a show that japan group ARASHI did and talked about how good the food Gan Jang Ge Jang was. He said, "Whether it be Korea or Japan, I will always eat it." ARASHI member Sakura said, "I have eaten it before but didn't know the name. Now I finally know!"
