f(x) 3rd Album 'Red Light' Tops Both Korea And Taiwan Weekly Music Charts

f(x) has continued to impress fans and music critics with the release of their new album, "Red Light."

The girl group has topped weekly music charts for the week of July 7 to 13 in Korea and Taiwan with their third album.

f(x) was seen ranking at No. 1 on the Taiwan FIVE MUSIC weekly chart and was recently featured on international publications, including Billboard and FUSE TV, for their unique style as well.

"Any love for 'Red Light' is sure to grow tenfold after one watches its accompanying video - with more than a million views in less than 12 hours. The girls' style changes from 'A Clockwork Orange'-esque suits to GI. Jane military-babe gear plus a slew of high-fashion pieces seen throughout the visual," writes FUSE.

The members of f(x) captivated fans with their performance of "Red Light" on the SBS music show "Inkigayo," which aired on Sunday, according to the Korea Herald.

The five members were seen on stage in black and white shorts, flaunting their curves and showing off their sexy, charismatic dance moves to accompany the electro-pop sounds of their new track.

The music video for "Red Light" has gathered nearly 6 million views on YouTube as of July 14. The clip surpassed 2 million views on the video sharing site in less than 24 hours after its release, according to a press release from SM Entertainment.

The girls of f(x) have been gaining mainstream spotlight since the release of their track "Rum Pum Pum Pum," which topped all of the local music charts last year.

Their second studio album also landed them on "The 41 Best Albums of 2013" list on FUSE TV.

Following the success of last year's single, f(x) became the first K-pop group to ever perform at the annual "SXSW South By Southwest" music talent showcase in Austin, Texas.
