James Franco Causes Another Instagram Scandal With Brother Dave And Zac Efron Dating Pictures: Pokes Fun Of Gossip Website’s Attempt At Hooking ‘Neighbors’ Stars Together

James Franco may have caused yet another Instagram scandal. He re-posted a gossip website’s picture of his brother Dave Franco and Zac Efron looking lovey-dovey on his Instagram with a caption that reads, “Effron and My brother, dating!!!!!!” Is James Franco giving a stamp of approval at the ‘Neighbors’ co-stars dating?

Nope. That was James Franco being sarcastic. In today’s world where every magazine and website try to get a new angle on the run-of-the-mill celebrity story, some stories become a little too crazy and outrageous. Through his Instagram repost, James Franco, 36, the star of Broadway’s ‘Of Mice and Man’, is making fun of this gossip website’s attempt at hooking his bro up with the ‘High School Musical’ star.

He captioned the picture, “Effron and My brother, dating!!!!!! Congrats, boys! I'm so happy for you!!!”

James also spelt Zac’s last name wrong, showing that he clearly doesn’t give two farts about celebrity news. Or Zac Efron for that matter.

Zac Efron, 26, and Dave Franco, 29, are ‘Neighbors’ co-stars. Aren’t co-stars allowed to go have fun together at basketball games and give each other hugs?

Anyway, James Franco is busy opening a show at New York’s Rattlestick Theater called ‘The Long Shift’ written by his friend and former professor Robert Boswell, starring Scott Haze and Ahna O'Reilly.

So is Dave. He has been dating actress Alison Brie, 31, of ‘The Lego Movie’ fame since 2012.
