As one of Japan's last remaining swordsmiths, Korehira Watanabe has honed his craft for 40 years while attempting to recreate the mythical Koto sword. Watanabe is one of the very few who are still making traditional Japanese swords. He hopes to leave this world having taught his disciple to be an even better swordmaster than himself. He loves this art, which for him, symbolizes the soul and history of his people.
