Was Henry Cavill forced to dump girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo after the public pressure surrounding their relationship? Gina Caraon's ex's dating life is now pretty quiet.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the "Man of Steel" actor had to drop girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo after the backlash because of her interests.

Marisa Gonzalo is a self-confessed hunter and has posted on social media some of her kills. Henry Cavill, meanwhile, is a known conservationist.

"Henry was spotted departing on a flight out of LAX on January 16th, and Marisa was NOT with him," the article noted. "Considering that she's accompanied him everywhere recently - including a yacht vacation with his close friends - it's interesting to note that she's been missing from her voracious social media postings recently."

The gossip site also said that it may be possible that Henry Cavill just broke up with girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo considering his track record. For instance, he split with "The Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco after just 10 days.

"Only Henry's relationship with Gina Carano never came under serious criticism from the media or fans - possibly because she wasn't a famewhore or an animal abuser, traits that many of his ex-girlfriends seem to share," it added.

Henry Cavill and ex-girlfriend Gina Carano split for the second time this past Christmas, although the extremely private couple did not give the reason for the breakup.

Henry Cavill has his own foundation, the Cavill Conservation, which is working to protect the animals and their habitat.

Henry Cavill and his reps have yet to comment on reports about his new girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo, or their rumored breakup. His ex-girlfriend Gina Carano is also silent on the issue.
