Super Junior's Leeteuk Announces Group's 2015 Comeback On Personal Instagram

While there are many April Fool's Day jokes circulating, perhaps K-pop fans are getting the worst treatment by their favorite idols with shocking announcements that ultimately create false hope.

Or worse, false devastation. (I.E. JYJ's Jaejoong announcing that he's getting married.)

While there has yet to be solid proof, Super Junior's Leeteuk recently announced via Instagram that his group would be having a comeback sometime this year. Unfortunately, ELFs should probably take this announcement with a grain of salt considering that this announcement comes on the unofficial troll holiday of April fool's day.

"Comeback confirmed!! Next month is the comeback. #comeback," reads Leeteuk's post in Hangul.

Leeteuk then posted a follow-up photo of Super Junior going through security at an airport with fans leaning over a railing. He captioned this photo with the warning to save their passion because their Oppas are coming back.

Admittedly, if this is an April Fool's Day joke, it is somewhat overkill to have two separate posts about it. At least JYJ's Jaejoong clearly indicates in his troll post about a wedding that it's an April Fool's joke. Some fans and netizens have doubts in particular because the announcement comes so close to EXO's comeback, which means they would somewhat be promoting at the same time. Additionally, SHINee is also supposed to have a comeback this year, so that would possibly mean SM Entertainment putting its three most popular male idol groups against each other.

As of now, Leeteuk has not pointed at his posts as a joke, so perhaps ELFs will indeed be getting some Super Junior action in the near future. But then again, with April Fool's Day jokes rampant, I'd wait until SM Entertainment confirms it on any other day than today.
