K-Pop Review: Just JeA by JeA

Brown Eyed Girls' JeA made her solo debut with mini album, "Just JeA."

Let me start by saying, "Days & Nights" sounds like a tango remix of Destiny's Child's "Independent Woman Pt. 1."

I'm STILL not completely sure how I feel about this song. JeA, and Eric Benet's voices blend well together, but I'm not sure I'm loving this song. Everytime I hear it I just have an urge to go listen to some Destiny's Child. This song didn't wow me, but its not horrible.

Score: .5/1

I am seriously loving "그대가 ìž ë“  사이 (While You Were Sleeping)." JeA just slays it in this song. She showed a completely new side of what we see when she promotes with Brown Eyed Girls, and I love it. She can be overshadowed by her group mates, but she really shined here, which is what a solo album is all about. Her voice is so powerful, and I found a new love for her as an artist.

Score: 1/1

Other scores:

Let's Hug ft. Jung Yup: .75/1

Stray Cat: .25/1

Silent Stalker ft. Double K: .5/1

Final Score: 3/5
