First Look At The Microsoft Lumia 940 Specs Here! Leaked Features Listed!

The Microsoft Lumia 940 has been talked about by a lot of techies ever since it was announced and without its official specs listed as of now, leaked features have been reported around the web.

In a report by GSM Arena, unofficial preliminary specifications were listed.

With a projected second or third quarter of 2015 release, the Microsoft Lumia 940 has a projected 5.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that could provide 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution that would be protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with a clear back display.

The phone is expected to run on the latest Microsoft operating system - Microsoft Windows 10. In line with this, the Lumia 940 is also expected to have a powerful Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 chipset, a dual-core 1.82 GHz Cortex-A57 and quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU with an excellent graphics processor in the Adreno 418.

Although the 940 is not expected to have an expandable memory via a SD card slot, it is expected to have a 32 GB built in memory that runs on 3 GB of RAM.

In line with all the powerful and eye opening specs of almost all the new Microsoft phone cameras, the Lumia 940 is powered by a 20-megapixel lens that could produce 4992 Ñ… 3744 pixels of images with its Carl Zeiss optics. The camera is also expected to be equipped with an optical image stabilization feature with autofocus and a dual-LED flash. Other features include 1.25-inch sensor, 1.12 µm pixel size, PureView technology, dual capture, geo-tagging, face detection and panorama.

The Microsoft Lumia 940 is also expected to have wireless charging feature with its market dependent hardware with its Qi-enabled feature.

The Lumia 940 comes with a 3000 mAh battery and comes in bright orange, bright green, white, black and gold colors.
