Estranged EXO Member Tao Drowns In Dramatic Music Video Teaser For Upcoming 'T.A.O' Solo Album

Former EXO member Tao will be releasing a solo album as Z.TAO, and he dropped a dramatic new video teaser which shows him drowning and washing ashore on the beach.

The one-minute teaser for Z.TAO's first digital mini album T.A.O starts off with the idol plunging into the ocean and then falling to the bottom in an unconscious state.

But Z.TAO manages to wash ashore in what seems like a remote beach. He eventually wakes up and proceeds to walk along the shore, albeit struggling to keep himself standing.

At the final moments of the video, we get a quick flashback sequence showing snippets of scenes that likely led to his ocean mishap. We also get a beautiful image of Z.TAO swimming in the ocean and reaching out to a beautiful girl.

The video teaser ends with a logo of Z.TAO as well as a date of '7/23/15,' his comeback date on which his mini album and music video should be released.

The music video was directed by Nick Lentz, according to Koreaboo, and several fans have been reported to give interpretation to the teaser's imagery.

Fans said that the symbolism represents Z.TAO's struggles and his eventual arrival in a new land and a second lease in life with the help of fans, which represent the ocean waves.
