Assassin's Creed Game And Movie Release Date, Plot Rumors: Ariana Labed will replace Alicia Vikander in the "Assassin's Creed" movie. It was also reported that the release date was delayed to December, 2016.

Alicia Vikander recently announced that she will no longer be part of the Assassin's Creed movie. Ariane Labed who recently joined the cast for an undisclosed role. Labed may be replacing Vikander in the role of the Ex Machina.

"It's all new to me, but starting to develop scripts and work on them, they take time," Labed said in a recent interview with Coming Soon magazine.

"It just takes time to get a good story together and we really want to do it right... That's always the challenge of something that's so dense, to really find something and pare it down and, basically, there are so many elements to it. Trying to translate that to an audience, you have to pick key things. [P]art of it is getting through the density of it and paring down and engaging a simple story."

Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Desilets revealed that his next game "Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey," a third-person adventure game, be a non-violent game, according to the magazine Game Informer.

"Our ancestors back then weren't that violent," Desilets told Game Informer.

"They weren't fighting each other. Cooperation and compassion are really part of the reason why we survived. There's no evidence of war before the invention of agriculture on this planet. That doesn't mean they didn't exist, but we've never found any evidence of it. There's not a lot of human beings on the planet, and once you first come across one, your first thought is not of killing them. It's like, 'Holy s*** there's somebody else! Let's try to help each other to survive because there's not a lot of food and there's a lot of beasts out there.'"

The Assassin's Creed movie cast Michael K. Williams, best known as Chalky on the HBO series "Boardwalk Empire," according to Variety. Williams will begin working on Assassin's Creed in the fall. Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard have also been confirmed to appear in Assassin's Creed.

Williams also played Omar in The Wire and recently appeared with Queen Latifah on HBO's biopic on Bessie Smith.

Williams is also set to appear in the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot Williams' Ghostbusters reunites him with Kristen Wiig, who starred with him in The Spoils Before Dying.

The movie will be directed by Justin Kurzel.

No word yet on who Williams will play in Assassin's Creed. Variety reported that Williams will have a prominent role.

Assassin's Creed tells the story of Desmond Miles, who was captured by a secret organization with ties to the Knight Templar and sent back in time to get historical artifacts.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be out on October 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Assassin's Creed will open in theaters December 21, 2016.
