Despite Big Bang Schedule Changes, iKON Debut Date Still Set For September 15

Although Big Bang's September release has been postponed, it seems as though iKON's September debut is continuing right on track!

When it was revealed that Big Bang would not be releasing their MADE album on September 1 as originally planned, many fans speculated that iKON's debut would also be delayed to accommodate the change. Luckily, YG Entertainment officials shared that the new boy group will debut on September 15 as planned, according to a report by the Korea Herald.

Before their debut, however, fans of the rookie boy group can look forward to another appearance on Naver's "V" app. On August 20 it was revealed that iKON, and YG Entertainment's other new boy group WINNER, will be hosting a live broadcast with a summer vacation theme on Friday.

WINNER and iKON were one of the first groups to appear on the app, with a gameshow broadcast titled "Win-Win Game." It was the first time the two groups shared the same television stage since their time on YG Entertainment's reality program WIN: WHO IS NEXT.

WINNER member Kang Seung Yoon shared that the idol members will perform various types of events including "meokbang," or eating on screen, as reported by Korea Herald.

With the "V" app broadcast and September 15 debut date, it looks like fans will be seeing a lot of iKON over the next few weeks.

iKON, made up of members B.I, Jinhwan, Bobby, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk, and Chanwoo, originally compromised Team B on WIN: WHO IS NEXT. After their loss on that program, the members returned in another television survival program Mix & Match.
