BTS Make Fun Transformation For Their Naver V App Halloween Party
BTS celebrated Halloween with their worldwide fan base through a special live stream party on October 29.
More than 575,000 viewers tuned in to watch the live broadcast of Halloween Party with BTS on the V app. The members donned Halloween costumes for the highly anticipated event, which was attended by lucky fans who were selected through a drawing.
Rap Monster kicked off the concert and fan event, leading the seven-member group through descriptions of their costumes.
While idol groups will often embrace a prevailing theme for Halloween, the members of BTS selected outfits which suited their personalities. Costumes ranged from J-Hope, who took on the identity of Star Wars villain Darth Vader to Jin, whose plush pumpkin look drew a positive response from both his bandmates and audience members.
"Because we are together through the V app, you guys are invited from all over the world," said J-Hope. "Thank you for coming all this way."
J-Hope served as the emcee for the festivities, which included live performances, behind-the-scenes footage, and interstitials with the studio audience.
BTS provided a warm welcome to international fans, before delivering thrilling renditions of their hits "Dope" and "I Need U."
While the theatrical setting of the party was more like a showcase than a concert, the group thrilled viewers with special musical moments including a notable performance of "Boy In Luv."
Footage from Halloween Party with BTS, including the entire broadcast, can be found on Naver V.
