"The Last Of Us 2" release date is looking a little bit more possible after voice actors hinted that Naughty Dog may be working on the follow up of the successful PlayStation exclusive game.
After giving spooks and chills on a very suspense game in the first installation of the game series, Game Rant reported that hints about the follow up may have been thrown by voice actor Nolan North after appearing at the recently held MetroCon.
"I know they're doing a 'Last of Us 2,'" North said in front of a panel giving a hint of a possible release date for the game.
Meanwhile, more hints about the possibility of "The Last Of Us 2" release date from happening came in from a Naughty Dog live stream by community strategist Eric Monacelli, writer Josh Scherr and lead animator Eric Baldwin, which was reported by IGN.
According to the report, while the game experts were talking about the "Uncharted" series, began to talk about "The Last Of Us" series, slipping on how he called the game as the "first Last Of Us."
"All the facial animation in the 'Uncharted' series was led up by Eric, here," he claimed, giving an impression and hint for "The Last Of Us 2" release date. "And [on] the first 'The Last of Us.' Uh, did I say the first The Last of Us?"
In addition to release date reports, speculations about the plot of "The Last Of Us 2" was reported by Movie Pilot.
"If the sequel features the same characters and the same setting, most of us, if not all, don't want Joel to return," the report stated.
There are no official release dates announced for "The Last Of Us 2" for now but the game is expected to come out once Naughty Dog is done with "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."
