'Digimon Adventure Tri' 2nd Movie 'Determination' Key Visual Revealed Featuring Mimi And Joe [PHOTO]

"Digimon Adventure" fans have long been curious about the mega-forms of other digimon besides Gabumon and Agumon.

Based on a new key visual for the upcoming second "Digimon Adventure Tri" movie, those fans will soon be getting their wish.

Today, the official website for the new "Digimon Adventure Tri" anime series has revealed a new key visual for the second movie in the series, "Determination." The new key visual (pictured above) features Mimi and Joe alongside the mega-forms of their digi-pals Palmon and Gomamon. The "Digimon Adventure Tri" second movie "Determination," will premiere on March 12.

So far, fans are very excited about the key visual, specifically hoping this means that all of the digimon will be able to show their mega-forms.

"It's nice that we are finally going to see the official canon mega digivolutions for the other digi destined. I mean everyone was guessing Rosemon and Vikemon for these two but it is great we are getting official confirmation," said Monster Hunter in an ANN forum.

The "Digimon Adventure Tri" six-part film series is a sequel to the original 1999 "Digimon Adventure" anime series. The new films were created in celebration of the 15-year anniversary since the original anime series premiere.

The first film, "Sakai" ("Reunion") is now streaming online via Crunchyroll and was also released in theaters in Japan. According to reports, the "Digimon Adventure Tri" theatrical release earned 59 million yen (about $480,000) in the first two days within opening on Nov. 21 in Japan. The number appears small at first glance, but is impressive given that the release was limited to 10 theaters.

While there's still no official home video licensing for "Digimon Adventure Tri" outside of Japan, the remaining "Digimon Adventure Tri" anime parts will be streaming some time on Crunchyroll during the 2016 winter anime season.
