SHINee's Onew Will Not Be Present At Their Concert Tour

Unfortunately, things appear to only be getting worse and worse for singer Onew of boy group SHINee since the claims against him for sexual assault earlier this month.

After already losing his spot on 'Youth Generation 2,' alongside other endorsement deals and program appearances, Onew will no longer be participating in SHINee's current concert tour promotions.

On August 28, SM Entertainment stated, "Onew expressed the wish to take a time of reflection regardless of the truth as he has caused concerns. After discussion, it has been decided that he will not participate in SHINee's concert promotions. We ask fans to understand."

This now means Onew will not be present for any of their Japanese concerts, leaving fans upset over having to see the group perform as 4. They will be holding a total of 4 concerts in Japan during the beginning and end of September and Onew will be absent from each until his controversy settles down in order to prevent any further burden to his group.

How do you feel about Onew's recent decision to step down and out of the spotlight? Stay tuned for more updates on his case.
