The infamous Korean pop columnist of New York Jeff Benjamin posted on his twitter account about the girl group Red Velvet. On the columnist's post, he mentioned @RVsmtown and said,
" I see you, @RVsmtown. Taking your most vocally impressive single in years and giving the best performance on Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook? They knew exactly what they were doing and crushed it." Pertaining to how the members' comeback gave a big impact on everyone.
He also added, " You see how proud they were in their faces in the end" adding a video link of red velvet's confident performance.
Meanwhile, on the same date, singer Pixie Lott was astonished by Red Velvet's Wendy's performance where she covered "Everybody Hurts Sometimes" of Lott during the group's appearance on Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook.
Pixie Lott discovered the cover when a fan @_hananzhang mentioned her in a Twitter post, where the fan posted a clip of the cover song introducing Wendy and how the fan wants Wendy and Pixie Lott's collaboration.
Pixie then retweeted the post and quoted " I would love to collaborate. Wendy is unreal."
The singer Pixie Lott also shared and posted the clip of Red Velvet and Wendy in her Instagram account where she added the caption,
"WENDY[heart emoticon] from Red Velvet @redvelvet.smtown just covered "Everybody Hurts Sometimes" from my second album and sounds so beautiful. Thank you for covering my song I wrote with @jamesfutureboyborne and @cjbaran in Shoreditch"
The singer Lott also promotes the cover and Red Velvet by sharing it on her Ig story.
On the other hand, the choreographer of "Umpah Umpah" who is only 16-year-old posted also on her Instagram account, @tayd_dance tagging Red Velvet and SM Entertainment official accounts how she is grateful for the opportunity that was given to her to work with Red Velvet.
She also mentioned that it was her first major project as a choreographer and she was honored to work with such an amazing, kind and empowering group as her first co-worker. She then added how unbelievable the girl group Red Velvet is. She ended the post with thanking everyone
