Twelve days before the official release of EXO's comeback album "OBSESSION" and we are already obsessed! Kai was the first one to excite us with his and his doppelganger's teasers, then Chanyeol and his clone came next. On November 15 midnight KST, our eyes got blessed by the sight of Sehun in a beret and the X-EXO member's alleged power to replicate himself.
Sehun, in the teaser clip, rests on a blue backdrop, giving us the calm feel and that he's the good guy here who desires peace and order. His beret has the same crescent print as Chanyeol's, although the two differ in positions. Sehun's is upside down, and of course, EXO-Ls tried to look up this type of moon's symbolism. Some also point out that it might not be a crescent moon but the South Node and North Node figure, which refer to the past and destiny, respectively.
Others also theorize that these forms may have the same flow with the classic magical girl anime Sailor Moon's lore.
Meanwhile, Sehun's evil doppelganger has a red cross marked across his right wolf-like eye. Even the half of each of his nails are polished in black, and his fingers are wearing golden rings with huge black stones on them. He's clad in a cropped black suit, exposing his toned abs, with a red lining from his collar down to the box plate. His cuffs were also adorned with red.
On the other hand, the main EXO member is seen sporting a vest and dark-themed mercenary clothing. His hands are armed with black and gray gloves, which has the text "HE." His suspenders are also a crowd-favorite, augmenting his irresistible "ready to take action" look. And are we forgetting that his pants are ornamented with aluminum buttons? Truly a sight one shouldn't miss.
Meanwhile, EXO has finally revealed the tracklist of their forthcoming 6th album. Both EXO and X-EXO accounts unveiled the song titles on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram-Obsession, Trouble, Jekyll, Groove, Ya Ya Ya, Baby You Are, Non-Stop, Day After Day, Butterfly Effect, and Obsession's Chinese version-all of which are unique per se.
EXO's post reads:
"EXO's 6th full-length album #OBSESSION raises expectations w/ the participation of global musicians. Watch out for these 10 unbeatable music tracks, including 'Jekyll', 'Trouble', 'Groove', 'Baby You Are', 'Butterfly Effect', 'Day After Day', 'Non-Stop', and 'Ya Ya Ya' on 11. 27. 6 PM KST!"
X-EXO, on the other hand, has a more informal tone to its post, and claimed the tracklist as "ours" and even concluded their post with "You got it?" on Facebook. It's obvious that they are staying true to their character, and we all love that for them and the creative team behind this galaxy-brained concept.
