Fans are thrilled after seeing SF9's Rowoon and Red Velvet's Wendy's duet for the "Trolls World Tour" video.

Rowoon and Wendy's duet dubbed the Korean version of the said animated film, and a lot expressed their admiration at how the K-pop idols gave a pop twist that jives with the current music trend internationally. Indeed, K-pop world domination is on the hype!

Earlier this year, Red Velvet and Rowoon were announced as part of the cast of Dreamwork's film, along with film teasers. The "K-pop Gang," composed of five girls, were set to perform the song "Zimzalabim."

Recently, the girls were excited to promote the said project, which fans anticipated.

Rowoon and Wendy's "Girl's Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper showcases their admirable singing prowess. Rowoon, who plays "Branch," said it was hard for him to get the grip of the song. However, Wendy helped him with it.

"It was difficult so I listened to Wendy's part and I tried to follow her lead. I think she did a really good job," he said.

"The Korean version is so cute. Wendy and Rowoon's voice fits the characters well!" said another.

Moreover, a lot of netizens now appreciate SF9's Rowoon's vocals more than ever.

"Just the fact that Rowoon is out there being paired up with Wendy, one of the most powerful vocalists, proves that he also has one of the most beautiful voices in the industry and needs to be recognized more as a vocalist," wrote one commenter.

Some K-pop idols are being pressured by their visuals more than their skills as singers. This reason overwhelms some artists that they would somehow focus too much on their physical appearance, rather than proving their talents in singing.

Rowoon and Wendy's performance in "Trolls" is something that exhibits more of their voices rather than how they physically projected on stage. It gives an avenue for viewers to listen more and appreciate the melodies better. It is where talent is given justice rather than giving more emphasis on looks.

We can't deny, though, that both Wendy and Rowoon are visuals. However, their "Girl's Just Want to Have Fun" cover for the animated movie is an example that K-pop music is something the world will always look forward to.
