Lee Jin Hyuk of UP10TION has issued an apology, following a recent fiasco.

The idol recently marked his official film debut in the drama "Find Me in Your Memory." On April 30, two of his co-stars, Kim Seul Gi and Moon Ga Young, streamed live on Instagram as part of the promotional activities for the drama series.

Throughout the broadcast, Lee Jin Hyuk said a few remarks as he watched others promote the drama, and Kim Seul Gi, who acted as his love team in the drama series, suddenly told him, "See you later, darling!"

Several of Lee Jin Hyuk's fans have been reportedly criticizing Kim Seul Gi for saying this and posting hateful comments against her. Lee Jin Hyuk held discussions regarding the controversy throughout his own live Instagram stream on May 8 and claimed he hadn't been watching when she named him "darling."

He added, "She apologized to me, too. She explained she did not think she should do that. She was in the process of shooting, and she was really sorry," to which he decided just to let go of the situation.

One fan commented that paying attention to this kind of stuff would be exhausting for a celebrity.

He responded, "Apart from that, the possible explanation I'm annoyed is because fans fought among themselves. This was my first drama series and my launching film project, and I don't want myself and my supporters to recall this series in a negative way."

The Herald Pop media outlet went on to write that, although some supporters' hysterical reaction was the real problem. Several respondents also interpreted that Lee Jin Hyuk had presented it as the mistake of Kim Seul Gi alone.

Top Star News reports condemnation of other remarks by Lee Jin Hyuk throughout the live stream. For instance, "What do you guys do if I take the lead part?"

And also, "I came to reprimand you because all of you are fighting."

Around the same period, several fans have said they have been taking them as jokes since he delivered those remarks with a chuckle.

On top of that, multiple sources have confirmed that he is always being criticized in the show for his conduct, with a few people claiming he appeared smug or upset.

Lee Jin Hyuk wrote a statement on Instagram on May 13, in which he apologized and also expressed his appreciation to the drama series actors and crew.

His letter reads:

"Hello everyone, This is Lee Jin Hyuk.

'Find Me in Your Memory' has come to an end after obtaining much love and undying support from the audiences.

Before I send my gratitude, I would like to make an apology for my insufficient words and behavior raising concern.

I focus deeply on the manner in which I behaved in my live stream. I would like to make an apology to all of the production staff who had to feel awkward watching my live stream, and for all of the audiences who appreciated the drama series.

I deeply apologize to Kim Seul Gi, who may have been upset by my utterly selfish words and behavior, to the crew of the show as well as to the fans. I'll keep what you've said in my mind and try harder not to fail you with my future decisions and actions again. Once more, I will take full responsibility. I 'm sorry."
