The speculations of possible comeback sparked earlier in the afternoon after a series of postings were shared through various online Korean communities, revealing that the group duo, EXO-SC, already began filming their music video. However, as confirmed by the reports, the photos that were shared in the platforms are shooting for the album jacket, and not for a music video. Further details are to be announced yet.

Due to this, the expectations for their hottest summer return after a year is already high, with the fans and netizens anticipation as to what kind of content they are going to serve for music enthusiasts this summer. The news regarding their comeback is also trending in different social media platforms, proving the hype of EXO-ls and avid K-pop fans.

In particular, the duo, Sehun, and Chanyeol, who formed a unit called EXO-SC (Sehun-Chanyeol), had their successful debut as a sub-unit through their first mini-album titled, "What a Life," last July 2019. "What a Life" did not only topped various music charts but also proved its influence by selling more than 107,900 copies in just one day of the album release. Amid this situation, Sehun and Chanyeol have announced the release of their new album, drawing much anticipation and attention from fans.

On the other hand, EXO, a group that debuted in 2012 under SM Entertainment, already started its military service in May 2019 after Xiumin, the eldest member of the group, announced his enlistment. He was then followed by D.O, and later on by Suho, who released his solo debut album, "Self-Portrait" before enlisting.

Thus, EXO members are overshadowing the military service with their active solo activities.

Previously, Baekhyun released his second solo mini-album "Delight" on May 25. The album featured a total of seven songs from various R&B genres, including the title track "Candy" and "Ah You Riding?" As soon as the album was released, sales of its first week surpassed 700,000 copies, proving its popularity. "Candy Challenge," which is an intended cover of his dance steps through Tiktok, goes viral and adds to the successful release of his album.
