In K-pop, fans are always on the lookout for how many seconds or lines do their biases have. That's why, sometimes, it's common for people to see fans tweeting about how fair or unfair line distributions are amongst K-pop idol groups. It's always been a mystery why agencies gather many members for a group, but not allow some of them to sing or participate as much as others.

For example, in AOA's song "Oh Boy," Choa gets approximately more than a minute of lines compared to the other members. Yuna, Hyejeong, and Seoulhyun had about 23 seconds each, followed by Jimin with 17 seconds. However, Mina and Chanmi only got to sing 7 seconds of the song. The entire track is at 3 minutes and 30 seconds, so if you do the math, Choa gets to sing about one-third of the whole song.

Also, in BTS's studio version of Spring Day, Jungkook and V were given 45 seconds each, followed by Jin, RM, and Jimin at about 30 seconds, and Suga with 15. However, J-Hope didn't get any. Some would say that the song didn't need J-Hope's expertise. Still, it seemed pretty unfair.

TWICE

The members of TWICE who get the least lines are Tzuyu, Jeongyeon, and Chaeyoung. For Jeongyeon's voice quality, it seems like she's not singing enough lines at all. Tzuyu gets minimal lines and almost only sings in chorus, but it's better compared to Chaeyoung who barely gets any lines at all.

BTS

Jungkook is usually given the most lines. Contrarily, Jin and Suga has the least.

BLACKPINK's Jisoo

It's apparent that Jisoo gets the least lines in BLACKPINK's songs. Her highest percentage of lines sang is only Jennie's lowest.

(G)I-DLE Shuhua

Shuahua gets to sing the least lines in every song. The group seems to be dependent on Soojin and Soyeon's vocals and disregards the other members.

Red Velvet Yeri

Super Junior

Leeteuk and Shindong are the members who get the least lines to sing in Super Junior.

EXO Sehun

Sehun has always been the member of EXO who sings the least lines. Which is pretty unfair, given that he's also the member who trained the longest. He usually only gest to rap for about 5-10 seconds and say E-X-O.
