TWICE has broken yet another personal record this time with their music video for 'I Can't Stop Me' from their latest album 'Eyes Wide Open.' The music video for "I CAN'T STOP ME" was released on October 26 at 6 PM KST and it hit 100 million views by 5:13 AM KST on Saturday, Nov. 7.
Previously, the TWICE music video to reach 100 million views was held by "MORE & MORE," which hit 100 million views in just 12 days and 22 hours. TWICE now has 14 Korean music videos that have reached 100 million views on YouTube. Other music videos from TWICE that have achieved the milestone are "Like OOH-AHH," "Cheer Up," "TT," "Knock Knock," "Signal," "Likey," "Heart Shaker," "What Is Love?," "Dance the Night Away," "YES or YES," "FANCY," "Feel Special," and "MORE & MORE." Candy Pop also has over 100 million views.
On October 28, 2020, JYP Entertainment shared that "Eyes wide open" has risen to the top of iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 32 countries, including Singapore, Brazil, and Japan. This is the most number of countries that TWICE has topped the iTunes charts with an album. As a result, this is already breaking TWICE's personal record!
The elaborate and gorgeous music video marked the much-awaited comeback for 'I Can't Stop Me.' The music video carried callbacks to most of their previous concepts but still has a fresh vibe that is characteristic of TWICE. The members look gorgeous as ever, and the visuals are as always perfectly balanced with the background. Vocals and choreography are perfections incarnate, and it also exhibits TWICE's development and growth over all these years.
The other tracks in the album include Hell In Heaven, Up to No More, Do What We Like, Bring It Back, Believer, Queen, Go Hard, Shot Clock, Handle It, Depend On You, Say Something, and Behind The Mask. The album has been released on all music streaming platforms and is already racking up the numbers. As such, it is sure to land records and break some TWICE's own.
On November 4, 2020, it was reported that TWICE has landed in the sixth position in the Spotify Global Top 10 Album Debuts chart. TWICE also ranked number 9 in Spotify US Top 10 Album Debuts. TWICE's recent album and its title track also had the most streams on Spotify in the first week of the album release. "I Can't Stop Me" currently has over 12,344,787 streams. However, depsite topping international charts, the song can't seem to land on top spots in Korean music charts.
