Gaon Chart has revealed new K-Pop groups and soloists who have earned official platinum certifications!

In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association introduced new certification systems for song downloads, albums sales, and online streaming. It was applied to all works launched and licensed in Korea from Jan. 1. Gaon Chart now certifies songs once they obtain 100 million streams or 2.5 million downloads, while albums will receive a platinum certification when they gain 250,000 sales.

On Nov. 12, Gaon Chart announced that the latest batch of K-Pop groups that have attained official platinum certifications after selling more than 250,000 album copies each are TXT's debut mini-album titled "The Dream Chapter: STAR," Stray Kids' repackaged album "IN生" ("IN LIFE"), and The Boyz's most recent mini-album "Chase."
