KBS to Conduct a Survey Targeting ARMYs Who Learned Hangul through BTS

In celebration of "Hangul Day," KBS will conduct a survey, wherein subjects will be ARMYs who learned Hangul through BTS.

What is "Hangul Day?"

Hangul Day or Korean Alphabet Day is being celebrated on Oct. 9 in South Korea every year. North Korea also celebrates the event, which they call Choson'gul Day, every Jan. 15. It is held to commemorate the invention and proclamation of Hangul as the country's alphabetic system. It has been a national holiday in South Korea since 1970.

Not to mention, Hangul is one of the only few writing systems where both the founder and founding date are known to mankind.
