TEMPEST Hanbin Proves He's The Ultimate K-Pop Fanboy During Debut Showcase

On March 2, TEMPEST held their debut showcase alongside the release of their album "It's Me, It's We" and the title track "Bad News." The event caught the interest of South Korean and international fans due to the group's line-up.

Along with former "Produce 101 Season 2" contestants Hyeongseop and Euiwoong, member Hanbin was one of the most anticipated acts of the day.

The idol hails from Vietnam and earned a fanbase after competing on Mnet's "Into the I-LAND," which formed ENHYPEN.

After leaving BELIFT Lab and HYBE Labels, Hanbin signed with Yuehua Entertainment and joined the line-up of TEMPEST.

During the debut showcase, Hanbin showed off his bright visuals and flaunted his K-pop fanboy status!

During the event, the boys of TEMPEST played a K-Pop Random Dance. There, Hanbin performed all the songs flawlessly, proving his industry knowledge.

The first song that played was NCT 127's "Kick it," which all the members performed flawlessly.

After, it was Choi Yena's "SMILEY."

Hanbin immediately rushed to the center, dancing with no mistakes. The members were seen jamming along to the song but appeared not to know the dance.

The next song to play was aespa's "Next Level." Again, Hanbin took center stage, performing the choreography.

The other members appeared to be more familiar with this song, but Hanbin knew the dance down to the details!

BTS' "Dynamite" was the next song to be played! Of course, the members all knew this song, but Hanbin stole the spotlight with his detailed moves and expressions.

The final song was David Guetta's "Hey Mama." While not a K-pop track, the song became famous among idols after "Street Woman Fighter" contestant NOZE created a choreography to the hit song. The said choreography is what Hanbin danced.

How Did People React to Hanbin's K-Pop Random Dance?

As the members hesitated with each song, Hanbin impressed viewers with how well he mastered the stage with his decisive, confident dancing.

Moreover, his facial expressions continued to attract the audience's attention with every song.

Dance covers are nothing new to Hanbin. Before becoming a K-Pop trainee, Hanbin was the founder and leader of the K-pop dance cover group C.A.C in Vietnam.

During his time with the group, he was known as Hung Bin. He remained with the group until he pursued a career in K-pop.

Some comments concerning Hanbin's cover dancing read, "Hanbin was like 'it's my time to shine!'" "He used to cover other groups dances as a fan, and now he's doing it as an idol," "He looks extremely professional," "This job was made for him." "Hanbin looked like he was prepared for this," and "He has so much potential!"
