TXT's 'minisode 2 Thursday's Child' Sets New Record for Group's Highest Pre-Orders
On April 20, YG PLUS, an album distribution company, announced that the pre-order volume for TXT's fourth mini-album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" has exceeded 816,000 copies as of May 19. This is the total of pre-orders in South Korea and outside the country.
The number of stock pre-orders is the amount of album stock that the company produces ahead of the album's official release. This figure is the estimated demand calculated based on different factors, including how many albums were pre-ordered by fans.

The pre-orders for TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" began on April 13. This means the album surpassed 800,000 copies in only six days, showing their step-by-step growth.
With this achievement, the group not only broke their record for the highest pre-orders but also for the fastest album to surpass 700,000 pre-orders.
To recall, TXT's second full-length album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," which came out in May of last year, recorded more than 700,000 pre-orders on the day of its release, May 31, which is almost a month since the pre-orders started.

With TXT's fourth mini-album surpassing 816,000 pre-orders in just six days, industry insiders are curious to see how higher the album's stock pre-orders will rise until its official release on May 9.
