BLACKPINK Stuns on the Cover of Rolling Stone's June Issue

On May 23, the popular music and culture magazine Rolling Stone revealed the cover of their upcoming magazine's June issue, featuring YG Entertainment's top girl group BLACKPINK on the front pages!

Rolling Stone had been teasing fans that BLACKPINK would headlining the June issue after the magazine hinted at a collaboration through a short 12-second video shared on their social media accounts.

In the video, it simply stated in a loop, "BLACKPINK x Rolling Stone," making BLACKPINK fans, BLINKs, grow with excitement.

In another post by Rolling Stone, the magazine shared a photo revealing the schedules for various cities, which seems to be the time BLACKPINK was unveiled as the cover of their June issue.

For their feature, the biggest K-Pop girl group in the world talk about numerous topics with Rolling Stone, such as how they make their music, how they deal with stardom, how they became family, and more.

With BLACKPINK on the cover of the magazine's June issue, this also means that the "How You Like That" hitmakers have hit a new milestone!

BLACKPINK then becomes the first Asian girl group and the third overall girl group to grace the front page of Rolling Stone in its history.

Prior to BLACKPINK, only two other girl groups have been featured on the cover of the magazine, British girl group Spice Girls and American girl group Destiny's Child.

In addition, this is also the first time that Rolling Stone dedicated their front page to a girl group in over two decades, with Destiny's Child being on the cover back in 2001.

Following the announcement of BLACKPINK being on the magazine, fans took to their social media to celebrate the girl group's new achievement.

Over on Twitter, BLACKPINK became a hot topic, with thousands of fans trending, "Welcome back BLACKPINK," to welcome the return of the four members in their official promotions as a whole group, as well as gush at Rosé, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo's stunning visuals!

Rolling Stone Drops Behind-the-Scenes of BLACKPINK

In addition to the sneak peek of BLACKPINK's interviews and their pictorial with the magazine, Rolling Stone also dropped several behind-the-scenes videos of the girl group through their social media.

In the videos, the members are all smiles and show that they are having fun as they joke around and enjoy their time with the magazine.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is reportedly making a comeback with the release of a new album. While the group's comeback has neither been confirmed or denied, BLACKPINK is expected to make their grand return to the music scene sometime in June.

In fact, the members have hinted numerous times since the beginning of this year that they would be returning soon.
