Kim Chaewon's Popularity When She Was In IZ*ONE vs LE SSERAFIM Gets Compared

Recently, there is a female idol that has been gaining attention from K-pop communities and fans– and it is none other than LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon!

In particular, entertainment media and netters re-examined the transition of Kim Chaewon when she was still in IZ*ONE until she debuted in her current group.

In the beginning, Kim who joined Mnet's survival show, "Produce 48" initially gained attention for her impressive singing skills and dancing potential. After ranking 10th place, Chaewon was able to debut in IZ*ONE and began her career as an idol.

Despite initial interest in her, Kim Chaewon didn't become the most popular member which also led her to have a lesser opportunities to showcase more of her skills and potential, may it be on music or solo photoshoot.

Despite being rookies who just debuted in May, the quintet is also writing history by becoming the fastest fourth-generation K-pop girl group to join the million-seller artist lineup, based on cumulative album sales.

On top of that, LE SSERAFIM on October 31st also set the record for the fastest K-pop girl group to enter Billboard 200 and also holds the highest entry at No. 14 among fourth-gen girl groups.

LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon Shocks With Personality Despite Family Background

Aside from her leadership and idol skills, Chaewon has been gaining attention for her visuals and personality as well.

Recently, the idol's pre-debut photos resurfaced, which became a hot topic among internet users and fans for her natural beauty. The "FEARLESS" singer also amassed positive reviews for her personality, wherein a lot of schoolmates of the idol attested to her quiet, reserved and kind attributes.

As she gained more popularity after she debuted as LE SSERAFIM, newer fans were surprised to know that Chaewon is actually a silver-spoon idol with influential family background.

In particular, the female idol was born in Gangnam, one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Seoul, South Korea. It was then revealed in 2019 that she is actually the daughter of Lee Ran Hee, a famous veteran theater actress in Korea.

When the photos of her mother were revealed, fans agreed that Kim Chaewon got her genes from her mother, even her skills.

After this information, fans are praising the "ANTIFRAGILE" singer for using her own capacities to rise in the music scene rather than her family's influence.

With her own hard work and persistence, Kim Chaewon's net worth is currently at 1.5 million USD.
