For this year's Coachella music festival, 3 Korean acts embark to set the stage on fire: LE SSERAFIM, ATEEZ and The Rose!
On January 17, the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup was finally revealed. Among global stars included in the lineup, 3 Korean arists made it to the roster of performers for the world's largest pop music festival.
LE SSERAFIM Becomes 4th K-pop Girl Group to Perform at the Coachella
The "2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival" announced on its official social media platforms its official lineup, and LE SSERAFIM was included in either on April 13 and 20.
With this, the quintet will be the second K-pop girl group to perform alone at the festival, following the K-pop global girl group BLACKPINK who has appeared twice and being a headliner.
LE SSERAFIM also joined BLACKPINK, aespa, and 2NE1 as the only K-pop girl groups to perform at the music festival.

In particular, the two, excluding BLACKPINK, were invited through 88rising's "HEAD IN THE CLOUDS FOREVER." The label organized this to introduce various Asian artists in the region.
ATEEZ Announced as 1st K-pop Boy Group to Join Coachella, The Rose to Also Perform at Event
Aside from LE SSERAFIM, ATEEZ, who recently topped Billboard's main album chart "Billboard 200" with their second full-length album "THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL," will be the first K-pop idol boy group to perform alone at the festival.
Earlier in 2020, BIGBANG was supposed to be the first after the K-pop icon was scheduled to appear at the festival, but it was canceled due to COVID-19.
The boy group is set to perform either on/or April 12 & 19.
This year, the Korean band The Rose will also perform at Coachella.
The Rose is gaining recognition in the U.S. with their second full-length album, "DUAL," released in September last year, ranking 83rd on Billboard 200 and touring North America. They are to perform on April 14 and 21.
The Coachella Music Festival is held at the Coachella Valley in the desert region of Indio, California in the U.S. and has attracted more than 200,000 visitors every year since 1999.
It has attracted global attention for its participation by popular pop stars and influential musicians.
Although the festival is relatively young compared to other festivals around the world, it has quickly become one of the best music festivals for its planning ability encompassing various genres including rock, hip-hop, electronic and pop.
This year, Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator, Doja Cat and No Doubt will be headliners.
