Nayeon Solo Comeback: TWICE Member To Release New Album

On April 9, Korean outlet Xportsnews reported that Nayeon would be making her first-ever solo comeback in June.

The report immediately caught the attention of Nayeon's agency JYP Entertainment, leading to the company's brief statement.

The agency confirmed that while the reports about the comeback were indeed correct, the release date has not been yet finalized.

"It is true that Nayeon is preparing a solo album, but the release date (for the comeback) is still undecided.

We will let you know when it has been confirmed."

Nayeon made her highly anticipated solo debut on June 24, 2022, when she officially released her eponymous debut mini album "Im Nayeon" and the viral title track "POP!," which made waves across the K-pop community and ONCE fandom.

Nayeon's unforgettable endeavor in 2022 marked her as the first member of TWICE to debut as a soloist. Additionally, her upcoming release this 2024 marks her as the first TWICE member to have a comeback.

On social media platform X (Twitter), ONCEs reacted with excitement over Nayeon's comeback news.

Aside from her much-awaited music, Nayeon also became a part of the Waterbomb Festival Seoul 2024 performer lineup. The event will be held on July 7, with other artists such as Jessi, BIBI, Sunmi, Taemin, Jay Park, Lee Young Ji, Hwasa, and many more joining.

TWICE is currently one of the most active girl groups from the third-gen. Apart from their vigor in the Korean music industry as a group and Nayeon's solo, the nonet has also introduced another soloist with leader Jihyo, who debuted on August 18, 2023, with mini album "ZONE" and title track "Killin' Me Good."

On July 26, 2023, JYP Entertainment debuted TWICE's first-ever sub-unit with MISAMO, the iconic trio composed of the group's Japanese members Mina, Sana, and Momo. The sub-unit debuted with the mini album "Masterpiece" and title track "Do not touch."
