Cara Delevingne recently had some choice words for her Twitter followers after she was insulted for posting an Instagram picture that exposed her battle with psoriasis.

It began when the model uploading a image to Instagram that showed her sitting in a supermarket shopping cart with discolored patches on her legs, a symptom of psoriasis.

The images triggered a few rude comments including, "OMG! Your skin! Cara Delevingne u need a bath!" and "Ugly boots, ugly legs."

After the nasty responses, Delevingne took to her Twitter to defend herself.

"Just to reiterate, I have psoriasis and it's (sic) leaves scares (sic) and I will have (it) for the rest of my life," said the supermodel. "I can handle the negative comments but just remember that no one is perfect. Embrace your individuality! It's makes you who you are."

Delevingne explained that her psoriasis breaks out when she is under pressure in a previous interview with W magazine. One of her most stressful times of the year is Fashion Week.

"[Fashion Week] is, of course, the worst time of the year for me to be covered in scabs," Delevingne told the publication. "Kate [Moss] saw me before the (fall 2013) Louis Vuitton show at 3:00 a.m., when I was being painted by people to cover the scabs. “She said, ‘This is horrible! Why is this happening? I need to help you.'"

Due to this, the model even hinted toward quitting the runway.

"I want to make music, I want to act, I want to sing, I want to do something that doesn't make my skin erupt.
