"I Love You" is a lyrical ballad with compelling and dramatic orchestration. It is about the sadness that accompanies a farewell with the person you love. The song introduction portion begins calmly, and evolves into explosive chords in the chorus section. The agency explained that the harmony expresses a scar that is deeper than love itself.
