Kangta & BoA - Non-Registered Directors Of SM Entertainment

Singers Kangta and BoA have been chosen as non-registered directors of SM Entertainment.

SM Entertainment revealed on the 21st, "We chose singers Kangta and BoA as non-registered directors. From now on these two will be creative directors, and will participate in content and new creative projects. Since they've been active globally, they will use their accumulated knowledge to create new projects."

SM Entertainment stars Kangta and BoA have been leading Hallyu stars for the past 10 years, carrying out activities in China, Japan, and the rest of Asia. They've built up many achievements thus far. It's expected that these two new creative directors will play a big part in creating new content for SM and build a stronger partnership with the company.

In addition, SM Entertainment reelected board of directors Kim Young Min, Han Seh Min, and Nam So Young at the general shareholders' meeting, and Kim Young Min was reelected as CEO. They also decided to grant stock options to the elected directors, as well as Kangta and BoA.
