Gwen Stefani is joining "The Voice." The No Doubt singer will be replacing Christina Aguilera and will finally get to collaborate with her rock star husband, Gavin Rossdale. Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green are taking a hiatus from The Vloice and Stefani will join new recruit, "Happy" singer Pharrell Williams.

Gwen Stefani recruited Gavin Rossdale, from the band Bush, to be her guest mentor for the upcoming season of "The Voice."

Stefani said the got the call to join "The Voice" when news broke that Christina Aguilera was pregnant. The No Doubt singer says her husband, who sings for the rock outfit Bush, will help her out in the second stage of the competition.

The Hollaback Girl says Aguilera also Stefani a note and put in an appearance at Christina and Gavin's son Kingston's birthday party.

"She's all girl power. ... She's like, 'You're gonna love it, you're gonna be fine.'"

Gwen Stefani joins "The Voice" when the popular singing competition show returns next season and she's taking along some extra help.

Gwen Stefani talked about Gavin Rossdale's role on "The Voice USA," saying "We've never really collaborated on too much besides children. It's just been hilarious. I get the R-rated version of what you guys get on TV which is like so funny. It's really good."

Gavin Rossdale broke the news on Twitter that he will mentor Gwen Stefani's contestants on Season 7.

"This fall, honored to be part of #TheVoice w/ the lovely & talented @gwenstefani," he tweeted Monday.

But Rossdale admitted "It's a lot of pressure! These people ... I press my button because I thought they sounded good, and then I fight for them. You are in the moment and then they choose you, and it's like wow, that's their whole life right this moment! So I felt really responsible."

Stefani took to Twitter to exclaim "it's official! so excited to have @GavinRossdale on #TeamGwen gx"

Gwen told Access Hollywood "He is super articulate and he has a really good opinion and he is smart and he's been doing a really good job. ... We both have, I think, a lot of experience in the sense that when you look back at all the shows and all the things we've done - and I mean, we all met like touring together and doing hundreds of shows - and it's so fun to be in the position to meet [all of the contestants].

Rossdale and Stefani, have been married since 2002. They Gwen and Gavin have three sons Kingston, eight, Zuma, five, and four-month-old Apollo.
