if you are a huge fan of the Flappy Bird fever which was at its height earlier this year, then you would probably love (or hate) this Android app free for download the same way.

Named Timberman, this Android app has been in the Play Store for quite some time now, though it has seen a huge spike in downloads and high ratings recently. 

The game is a game with 8-bit graphics and pits you in the character of a simple timberman who cuts trees. However, you will need to tap left or right to 'dodge' the branch parts of the tree you are cutting (and it sure is an infinitely tall one). If any branch falls to your head, for some reason you die right away and the game's over.

While the gameplay sounds easy, the actual game is nowhere in that level. Of course, dodging the branches would be easy if there is no pressure placed upon your shoulders, and so the developers wittingly and sadistically included a timer of sorts at the top of the screen. 

As long as you keep chopping parts of the tree, the timer will 'replenish' itself. However, while you become better in cutting the tree and dodging the branches left and right, the timer oh-so-perfectly runs out faster, which would certainly leave you in a panic. 

The game is fun to play, and the unique chopping sound tends to characterize it with the single 'flying' sound of the Flappy Bird. There are also a number of characters you can pick and choose to be your timberman, though most of them can be unlocked by way of achievements. Jason, yes the killer from the horror flick, is one of those options and you can get him for free after you like Timberman's Facebook page.

The game is free to download from the Play Store, though you have to pay $0.99 to remove the ads permanently.
