Kanye West Tour 2014: Lorde Says 'Yeezus' Rapper Is Like Her 'School Principal’, West A Big Fan Of ‘Royals’ Singer

Kanye West's 2014 tour will be getting underway soon, and New Zealand star Lorde has something big to say about the "Yeezus" rapper!

In an interview on July 18 with The Guardian, Lorde was quick to lay praise upon Kanye West, among discussing a range of other topics.

"[Kanye West is] like my school principal, if the school is pop," said the "Royals" hit maker.

It seems the pair are quite the fans of each other's musical catalogues - prior to Lorde's school principal comment, Kanye West "accosted her and told her last year and declared himself a fan", according to the Guardian.

Perhaps we can expect a Lorde/Kanye West collaboration to come our way? What a combination.

In Kanye West 2014 tour news, the "Yeezus" rapper has just added more dates to his busy schedule. Kim Kardashian's beau will now be headlining both events of the Budweiser Made In America festival, which has gone bi-coastal this year. These new Kanye West tour dates will cover both Los Angeles and Philadelphia, and the Made In America shows will be rocking festival goers' ears on August 30 and 31.

The Made In America festival has just ticked over into its third year, and it's got an impressive star backing - Jay-Z personally curates the quirky range of artists across both the Los Angeles and Philadelphia shows.

The addition of the Los Angeles Made in America festival to Kanye West's tour dates joins a headlining show in San Francisco on August 8. After the festivals, the rapper will be heading down under for a string of Australian "Yeezus" shows. He'll be hitting up five Aussie capitals from September 5 to 15, with double shows in Sydney and Melbourne. The dates are the result of a postponement earlier in the year, when Kanye West's tour dates were pushed back so the rapper could finish work on his latest album.
