"The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers revealed that Josie Loren was cast as a potential love triangle to the Simon Baker's Patrick Jane and Robin Tunney's Teresa Lisbon romance, as the "Make it or Break" cast will fill in the void left by former cast members.

Michael Ausiello wrote "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers on TVLine when he revealed that Josie Loren will play Michelle Vega who will be added to the team lead by Simon Baker's Patrick Jane.

"She's a rookie fresh out of the FBI Academy: eager, ambitious, hungry to learn. She's never heard of Jane, knows nothing of his methods or past, and casts a skeptical eye on his unorthodox, rule-busting ways," the columnist said of "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers.

TVLine added that Josie Loren has an option to become a series regular from a current recurring role, and she will "partly fill the void left by original cast members Owain Yeoman and Amanda Righetti, who exited the series in the spring."

The TVGuide, meanwhile, reported "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers when it said that the character of Michelle Vega will appear in future episodes and her "by-the-book" orientation will clash with the unorthodox methods of Patrick Jane.

Michelle Vega is also very ambitious and is hinted to be very qualified for the position.

On the other hand, show creator Bruno Heller also dished out "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers when he told Entertainment Weekly that, "Up until now if you're comparing it to Moby Dick, which is one of the analogies I used to describe the length of the chase, next season the whale has been sighted and they're in the small boats and chasing the whale."

Also, Bruno Heller said they aim to provide closure to the Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) romance before the season winds up.

The CBS still hasn't provided the airing schedule for the seventh season of "The Mentalist," although it's reported that there are only 13 episodes for what could be the final season for the series.
