Oscar Pistorius murder case update brings no good news for the Paralympian on trial as a new report claimed that the "Blade Runner" partied just two months after the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

The Sunday Times reported updates on the Oscar Pistorius murder case trial as it cited an unnamed businessman who claimed that the "Blade Runner" arrived uninvited to his party in Illovo, Johannesburg on April 6, 2013.

The publication also talked to guests of the party who confirmed his attendance and, "after drinking heavily," even flirted with a woman on the dance floor where his advances were rejected.

The London's Daily Telegraph  reported Oscar Pistorius murder case update when it said that the accused in the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp "drank tequila shots, socialised with a known violent offender and had scantily-clad women sitting on his knee."

He was at the VIP room of a bar in Sandton, Johannesburg prior to the fight with racing driver Jared Mortimer.

While Oscar Pistorius admitted to being in the VIP room, he denied instigating the fight and instead accused Jared Mortimer of badgering him about the trial.

Meanwhile, his uncle, Leo Pistorius, defended Oscar Pistorius after the alleged bar scuffle between him and racing driver Jared Mortimer over the weekend.

He claimed that the allegations made by Jared Mortimer that Oscar Pistorius insulted South African president Jacob Zuma were outrageous and "designed for maximum attention and maximum damage."

Leo Pistorius said that his nephew right now is "grappling with an extreme level of emotional pain that is manifesting itself in some of his recent unwise actions and choices."

According to the NY Times, the Oscar Pistorius murder case trial took one step closer to the finish during the 39th day of the hearing. The defense and prosecution will return on August 7-8 so they can make their oral arguments.

The publication said that Judge Thokozile Matilda Masipa will hand down her verdict before the end of next month.
