Neymar had his first son David Lucca de Silva with Carolina Dantas when he was just 19. While he is no longer in relationship with his son’s mother, the Brazilian soccer player dotes on his son.

Good think that he doesn’t have to worry about having a stepmother just yet! In an interview with Globo television, during which Neymar reflected on Brazil World Cup 2014 and the future of the Brazilian national soccer team, he stated that it’s “too early” to think about marrying his current girlfriend Bruna Marquezine.

She is only 18 so it’s good that they are taking things slowly. And Neymar is only 22! Good riddance.

During the interview, he talked more about soccer than his personal life.

"I think Brazilian football is behind. It's behind Germany and Spain. We've slipped behind and we have to be man enough to admit it,” said Barcelona’s top player.

"You train more, but sometimes you train with less determination. That's how Brazilians are."

Neymar seemed determined to be in top shape for the Russia World Cup 2018. Because of the unfortunate injury that put him out of commission for Brazil’s last two (and most embarrassing games), Neymar could only watch the horror unfold for the Brazilian national soccer team.

But it looks like he has been aptly spending his recovery time with his family and baby son! Let’s hope that he has been giving his girlfriend Bruna Marquezine, who has been a big Neymar supporter during the World Cup, some quality time as well.
