Iggy Azalea’s 'Fancy' Parody: Weird Al Yankovic Waited Backstage To Ask 'The New Classic' Rapper If He Could Make Fun Of Her Song, Iggy Agreed Straight Away?

Looks like Iggy Azalea has a great sense of humor! It has just emerged that the Australian rapper was quick to give permission to Weird Al Yankovic to parody her hit song "Fancy".

Weird Al Yankovic was waiting backstage at a concert in Denver where "The New Classic" was performing to ask her if he could make his own hilarious parody take on "Fancy".

"I talked to her as she was literally walking offstage," said Weird Al, as reported by Yahoo!7. "I introduced myself, 'Hi. I'm Weird Al Yankovic and I would love to do a parody of Fancy'. The next morning I was in the studio recording."

Sounds like the "The New Classic" rapper agreed pretty much straight away to having her song taken on by Weird Al!

"The resulting pop parody, Handy, shows Yankovic as a handy man making some home repairs, including plumbing when toilets overflow and resurfacing a patio," wrote Yahoo!7.

While Weird Al has been taking on the Mullumbimby-born rapper's hit song, she's been an incredibly busy lady! Most recently, she was spotted on the set of her "Black Widow" music video with Rita Ora in a skin-tight bodysuit - it all looked rather "Kill Bill".

Rita Ora and Iggy Azalea look like they've been up to some martial arts practice for the new video - Iggy posted a snap of Rita at fight training, hash tagging the pic "#KungFuGoddess #SamuraiRealness #BlackWidow #ComingAugust".

Most recently, Iggy updated her Instagram with a simple shot of a script title - the image has no caption, and the picture reads "Iggy Azalea - Black Widow (Diner Intro)". The rapper sure loves teasing her fans in anticipation of the new release!

Iggy Azalea has also just been added in the latest round of additions to the Budweiser Made in America festival. The Aussie rapper will be appearing on Saturday August 30 at the Los Angeles leg of the festival.
