Fight Club 2 Plot & Release Date: Chuck Palahniuk To Reveal Details Of The Book Sequel In 2014 San Diego Comic Con; Movie Adaptation To Follow?

Fight Club 2 plot and release date is reportedly scheduled more than 15 years following the first film.  "World War Z" movie star Brad Pitt is about to work with Edward Norton again to reprise their roles on the movie.

In 1999, a movie adaptation of Chuck Palahnuik's novel about Tyler Durden and the club that he created made it to the big screen. It has been announced that a sequel to the hit movie is now in the works and it will be released on the big screen sometime in 2016 following the release of the second book on April 8, 2015.

Palahnuik will be having his own panel in the upcoming 2014 San Diego Comic-Con for Fight Club: From Page to Screen and Beyond. Fans are hoping for more revelations specially if there would be a second installment for the movie that starred Brad Pitt.

Fight Club 2 plot will take place 10 years after the club was created by Tyler Durden based on book 2.

"It will likely be a series of books that update the story 10 years after the seeming end of Tyler Durden. Nowadays, Tyler is telling the story, lurking inside Jack, and ready to launch a come-back. Jack is oblivious. Marla is bored. Their marriage has run aground on the rocky coastline of middle-aged suburban boredom. It's only when their little boy disappears, kidnapped by Tyler, that Jack is dragged back into the world of Mayhem," according to the genius author behind the film. However, Palahnuik did not give further details with regards to the film's story line.

Nevertheless, Palahnuik confirms that "Fight Club 2" will still feature the works of Tyler Durden and the rest of his team 10 years after the club was created.

Much to fans delight, "World War Z" movie star Brad Pitt and Edward Norton will be returning to the planned sequel. However, the two actors are still busy with their previous engagement, thus production will most likely start in 2015.

Whether the rest of the actors from the first installment of Fight Club will also be back with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton has yet been announced. However, fans of the graphic novel will surely be glad to know that Pitt will still be on the film.
