In the latest "Mad Men" season 7 news, Julia Ormond, who plays the role of Don Draper's mother in law on the show, has said "Mad Men" contributed to ending her relationship.

The actress, whose character Marie Calvet featured primarily in season five of the hit AMC television series, has told the Huffington Post that "Mad Men" impacted her personal life more than expected! Julia Ormond appears to be a big fan of the show, and watching it without her isn't an option for a potential partner.

"I did say to ['Mad Men' creator] Matt Weiner at one point that a very committed relationship that I had actually came to an end and was finally over when he watched a 'Mad Men' episode without me," Julia Ormond said. "I was like, 'You're toast. We're done'."

The actress also discussed the awkwardness of filming her sex scene with co-star John Slattery, who plays Roger Sterling in Mad Men season 7.

"Sex scenes can be incredibly awkward to do, and it was probably one of the more awkward sex scenes that I've ever done," she said in regards the scene she did with John Slattery. "Sometimes you bail as an actor in terms of, 'I know what I really should do, only I just feel silly.' [What I should have done was] ask for a banana, because having to do that in his lap and trying to feel sexy was very weird."

As Mad Men season 7 draws to a close, with part two set to air in 2015, other stars of the show have recently been interviewed on their experiences with the 1960s advertising drama.

Christina Hendricks, who recently gained an Emmy nomination for her role as the iconic Joan in the series, is unimpressed that more of her cast mates weren't nominated for their efforts.

""I would have liked to see more of our cast nominated," the 39-year-old told the LA Times. "They've done some of the most exceptional work they've done in this season - especially Elisabeth Moss."
