'Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris' Release Date And Trailer For Xbox One, PC, And PS4 Announced: Square Enix Confirms [VIDEO]

After announcing the game at E3 in Los Angeles back in June, Crystal Dynamics has finally given fans the release date when they will be able to enjoy some more Lara Croft action with "Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris." "Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris" download release date will be 9th December for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The co-op adventure is a sequel to the well-received "Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light," and follows the grown-up Keeley Hawes-voiced Lara as she unravels a new Egyptian mystery.

Temple of Osiris can be played through entirely in single-player, but also supports co-op play for up to four people.

"We look at this game and we put it together in a way that we just love it," Amos told IGN. "It's a fan favorite, it's something that we want to do right."

"Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris," which adds two new players to the game, is a four-player co-operative experience, a first for the franchise. In that mode, you take on the roles of Lara, fellow explorer Carter Bell and, naturally, the ancient Egyptian gods Horus and Isis.

It's a top-down dungeon crawler that follows up the wildly successful "Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light."

This game will give players a bit of a layover between now and the release of "Rise of the Tomb Raider," which is currently slated for a 2015 release.

It's being developed by regular Tomb Raider studio Crystal Dynamics, which is also creating a sequel to last year's full "Tomb Raider" reboot.
