Elder Scrolls Online Review, Classes, Gameplay [NEWS]: Release Date Announcement? Bethesda Game Studios Makes Public Announcement

Bethesda Studios made a recent public job posting on their website that may hint at an upcoming Elder Scrolls VI release date.

"Bethesda Game Studios is looking for experienced programmers to work on cutting-edge technology for an unannounced game on future-generation consoles," the company writes on its site.

ZeniMax Studios is working to correct "grindy" problems beginning with balance changes in post-level 50 zones, Polygon reports.

Rumors are speculating developers will leak more information about Xbox One Beta version classes, features and gameplay at the upcoming QuakeCon 2014 conference.

Bethesda Softworks' latest console move is "questionable," according to a Guardian Liberty Voice review of Elder Scrolls Online.

"Overall, The Elder Scrolls Online is being seen as a disappointment by the target customer group," the website writes.

"A platform shift for a game that is largely viewed as a flop can be an expensive and risky endeavor. ZeniMax has announced that it plans on making the game available on gaming consoles sometime during the fall and winter months, but the decision to do so is questionable."

Elder Scrolls Online's Imperial Edition price break ended on June 6, bringing the game's price down nearly 50 percent.

Does this represent a failure on the developers end?

Elder Scrolls Online's Update 2 is a "step in the right direction" because of new weapons features, PC Games N opines.

"The slider can manage an FOV of between 70 and 130, and can be found in the first-person section of the 'Camera' menu in Settings. FOV settings will be saved to the character you happen to be playing at that time," the website writes in a review.

"Weapons and armor found in the world can now be picked up and equipped.

They're sort of a last resort - low quality, and sellable for 0 gold. But they can be upgraded for crafting, or deconstructed for a low inspiration yield."
