"Arrow" season 3 spoilers reveal that Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak's relationship will get more complicated, while Thea will return as a very different girl than what fans have been become accustomed to.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased "Arrow" season 3 spoilers to TVGuide when he said that they will immediately jump right into the Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak's relationship. During the premiere episode, he will ask her to dinner and reveal some of his past when people thought he was dead.

He also has first dibs on what they ordered during their dinner, "They go for Italian," he said.

Co-executive producer Greg Berlanti also believes that Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak do feel something about each other, but there's another wrinkle in their relationship as Roy Palmer, played by Superman's Brandon Routh, comes in.

As Guggenheim added, "You got to do the love triangle."

Meanwhile, showrunner Andrew Kreisberg said that Brandon Routh's Roy Palmer will become a "big foil" to the Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak's relationship.

"Season 3 is typically when you add that game-changing character like Buffy did in adding Faith or Everwood did with adding Scott Wolf. First of all, getting Brandon - he couldn't be nicer, he couldn't be sweeter. It's just such a different energy that he's bringing to the show," he told TVGuide.

"A lot of what's funny about Felicity and Oliver is that he's so straight and she's the funny one. With Brandon, you get somebody who's as tall, square-jawed and handsome as he is [and] he's a really funny comedian. He and Felicity can have that verbal repartee that we haven't typically had on the show. As much as the show is getting darker, it's gotten a lot funnier. It's just such a different energy. He and Felicity are really cute together," he said.

Meanwhile, cast Willa Holland (Thea) revealed "Arrow" season 3 spoilers when she said that Thea has been training with her father.

"Thea is going through something pretty crazy right now. She's definitely made a big change. The Thea that you saw in Season 1 and Season 2 is not the girl that's coming back in Season 3," she added.
