The episode synopsis reads: "Julia takes over as the leader of Chester's Mill after the town becomes divided in the wake of Big Jim and Rebecca's plans for population control. Meanwhile, Joe and Norrie help Melanie search for more clues about her identity at the Dome wall."

According to the promo video, it looks like Julia has her work cut out for her as she tries to keep the townsfolk in control despite the rising tensions of the situation. Conditions are worsening and resources are dwindling - and after Big Jim and Rebecca introduced their idea of "population control," all hell broke loose.

Let's hope Julia can find a way to lead the people of Chester's Mill to tranquility - otherwise someone's going to get hurt.

"Under the Dome" showrunner Neal Baer had a lot to say at Thursday's Comic-Con panel and he promised the demise of several characters, Dread Central reports.

"We have kept the body count down a bit at the beginning of the season so we can rev it up at the end," Baer said.

Deadline also reports that a five-minute clip of Episode 7 was shown at the panel, with Mike Vogel's character Dale "Barbie" Barbara falling into a deep cavern.

"One of our characters might get out of the dome this season, literally,"  Baer added. "We just finished shooting last week and we know the ending but we won't tell you."

The episode airs August 11.
